When a loved one passes away, it can be hard what to know what to do with their equipment. Some of the equipment can be worth many hundreds if not thousands of pounds, there will also be smaller items, and perhaps components that will be worth very little if anything at all. We can advise what items are worth selling, and what may be worth recycling. If however you would rather donate any equipment, or your loved one asked that the equipment be donated to a club, then we would also be interested in helping. Depending on your location, we may suggest a more suitably located club.
We may use donated equipment in many ways:
- Loan the equipment to less fortunate members
- Use the equipment as part of our practical training
- Gift components to members for their projects / repairs
If you are kind enough to donate equipment, then we will (at your request) post an obituary on our web site to remember your loved one and your kind donation.
